Simplicity Complexity and money? Can we talk?

Whether its your health or your happiness. Heck even if its your beauty. I remember Doctor Zdinak did an interview for People Magazine where she recommended a $3.99 cream available anywhere.

Some people just will not impart any information unless there is a ton of money involved. Then they pretend that they have something special. I was reminded of this watching public television today and there was a brilliant brain health doctor.

I dont mean to diss him, but so far I already take every supplement he is recommending. And I think pretty much everyone recommends light in the morning, exercise, vitamin D and probiotics.

So either I am a genius or everyone is trying to take advantage of you.

If you have a serious condition you should be under the care of a doctor, period. If you are just looking to tweak your happiness, there are a lot of different supplements you can take and things you can try. You dont need to spend a fortune on anyone’s crap.

So whether it is health or happiness, heck even beauty. No smoking, get exercise, stop talking to yourself or take a course or get a podcast or an app to help you to stop doing that.

60% of the people in this country are overweight, lose some weight. It will stop so many diseases like high blood pressure heart conditions, diabetes and Alzheimer’s.

Take some vitamin D most of the people in this country are deficient in that as well. You need sunlight for happiness and vitamin D (but cover your face and hands for beauty or use sunscreen). Find a probiotic that agrees with you. Eat healthy proteins and fats avoid simple carbohydrates. Anything white is bad, ie white bread, white rice, potatoes. In fact white rice has a higher glycemic index than ice cream. (glycemic index is how fast it turns to sugar forcing your body to release insulin and store fat, ice cream is mostly fat)

Its what you do 90% of the time that counts. So have your dark chocolate and whatever other indulgences you want occasionally. Indulge in happy relationships, learn how to listen to others, you will not only learn something you will get more love. People love being heard.

Supplements are pretty easy, everyone is saying the same thing. I write a lot about them in health. But you also need to see what resonates for you. The list is so short. Weight training, go for walks.

Do I have to tell you what a healthy meal is? I dont think so. I think most choose not to eat healthy. There are a few that people get confused, ie eggs are perfect food, donuts aren’t. You do know that correct?

A shake is also a great breakfast, any shake will do better than a donut. Lunch, personally I often make a salad and eat a can of sardines, tuna, or salmon. Ok I am guessing not too may are on board with that, but you can order a salad even if you are at the office. A salad with chicken? no gloppy dressings. Some sort of oil and vinegar dressing.

Dinner; chicken, fish, veggies, salad. Have your cookie or ice cream. If you have been this good all day, reward yourself. Or you can reward yourself by being strict, Heck you can even not eat for the next 12 to 18 hours, and get the benefits of a mini fast. Its up to you how far you want to take it. But the point I am trying to make is that its all easily attainable. The information is free. The supplements are relatively inexpensive. The rewards are priceless. My advice is free. No torturous one hour YouTube or 400 page books.

Will I have to scrub this post when I decide to “sell out” I don’t think so. If I find something that great or a synergistic combination that is irreplicable, I will be the first to admit it. I have bags of phenylalanine, Tyrosine and Glutamine powders. I have laboratory grade glutathione powder. I have it all. PS in that arena just get NAC, the precursor to glutathione. It would have incalculably helped during covid. Its a matter of how far you want to go. Keep reading there is no pay wall here.
