Stop Being Sum Dum Fuk

Life is not a Chinese Menu

Life is actually the Butterfly Effect. Everything you do completely creates your future. Every decision you made. In fact I can easily trace the worst and best things that happened in my life.

Parking in the wrong place getting my car towed meeting a girl at the impound. Taking a chance and saying hello. How. many times have you sat next to a stranger striked up a conversation.

What about the one person that you met that introduced you to another person that became your spouse. Or a seminar you took where you met someone that you either dated or introduced you to someone else.

Literally everything in your life was a small choice

Life is not a Chinese menu. You can divorce the guy. But you cant say you wish you hadnt married him, if you love your children, or you wouldnt have them. Its not one from column A and one from column B. And if you are really smart you will find the lesson even in the mistakes from column A. Because it all leads us to who we are today.

Heck if I invested even a $1000 dollars when Danny told me to in bitcoin in 2010 it would be worth $287 million. I definitely wouldnt be writing this. I would probably be off having fun, maybe too much fun, given my history. So I get to learn and study and continue to work hard study human nature, the brain, share it, and make more of myself. I get to study health, happiness, beauty and still work to create wealth as well. And I get to share it. Not just be the product of one lucky investment.

Yet you think you can pull one out and land up in the same place. That is pure crazy talk. Why would you waste your time regretting anything you did. I admitted earlier that I had my “drug period” That was in my early twenties. That led to my renaissance period.

I would never have become the person I am today if I hadnt lived through that. I would be a typical 10 pound or more overweight person with a pot belly that drank a few drinks a week that married a nice Armenian girl and had 2.3 children and a dog

Granted some of that sounds good now LOL. But I probably also would have had and a heart attack and type 2 diabetes, maybe a prostate cancer. I just wouldnt be driven to the extent that I am. But honestly that was never in the cards for me anyway. I have always seeked more and even was jealous of all the guys in the union making their $75k a year living in Staten Island. My brain simply craves dopamine and endorphins and the exhilaration of life. Doesnt everyone?

But sorry off point a bit. The point of this chapter or post is all of your time should be in the present the future and the near future. One point I didnt make in the video is to start with visulazing the near future as well as the more distant future.

Maybe that goes along with all of those that say have. goals for week month year, Do they say the day? I say forget the goals, visualize. Visualize your day. If you can imagine what you are going to eat before you even head to the kitchen, how that is going to contribute to how you feel and the energy you have for the day and your weight loss goals and you mind, you have already gotten a great start.

PS none of this is possible if you are on your phone checking emails or watching TV or thinking about problems or some other BS. Or worse yet living in the past or your regrets. The right things to do to get on the golden road to happiness are really easy in terms of “what”. You just have to get out of your way. You have to learn how to use the part of your brain that is only thinking about the present or the future.

Maybe we can study NLP and decide where to focus our eyes to only access our present and our future. There must be short cuts for you all. Personally I am there, but I am not sure I can say one thing to get you there. I still think Maxwell Maltz book, Psycho-Cybernetics was one of the best books I read and David Ellzey working with the Sedona method was best for letting go of the past.

I will work with some friends to see if I can teach them to stop talking to themselves and report back what is the quickest way. But you absolutely need to learn how to use your “brain” to serve you, not be the slave to your self talk and your past.

Perhaps that is why so many books have been written about prayer, visualization, meditation, gratitude. Perhaps everyone will take a slightly different path. And there will be those that take no path and stay stuck, like our friend eating pizza in bed and looking like he weighs at least 500 lbs

Its your life, spend at least an hour a day to plan, visualize the best things for your. day your week your month and your future and go out there and enjoy it. PS talk about being Sum Dum Fuk. Dont confuse enjoying your life with getting drunk and eating foods that will not only stop you from enjoying your life but make you sick and miserable

I am always shocked and surprised when someone says ” Its OK I am on vacation while they eat a quadruple cheeseburger with a double order of fries accompanied by a six pack of beer”

Did you leave your body at home Einstein? I always thought of vacation as renewal time. So I would jog 5 miles a day play tennis and eat even better because I was on vacation. I wasnt like the person that needed a vacation to recuperate from their vacation.

Start using your brain in a better way.
