Women and Men, Do you have ED? victimizED, impoverishED, isolatED, vaccinatED, inflammED, bankruptED?

The list is endless. I just realized I might’ve been too harsh with my previous post. It has been sucky the past few years. There is not a single one of you, women and men alike, reading this that have not been locked down, gotten ill and maybe even lost some loved ones, so I just wanted to acknowledge that

But let’s also acknowledge that the last six or seven decades have been relatively free of any type of horrific events. By comparison, my parents were both born 1918. As you might know that was World War I. In fact my mom was born in the middle of a Genocide and was fleeing her country, their home with the clothes on their back, and watched one of her weaker siblings die in the process. But thats another epic story. No more than 10 years later was 1929, and that was the great depression, and no less than 15 years later was 1945 World War II which my father served in, so these are big time cataclysmic events. PS my dad met my mom in Paris durring world war 2. So I wouldnt be here writing this if world war 2 hadnt happened. How is that for food for thought?

As a matter of fact, those events were so severe, they even passed on their fears, scars and beliefs to me. I was raised by depression, era parents who saved plastic bags and rubber bands. My fathers goal was to make $25 a week. My mother told me never take risks, so the point I’m trying to make here is acknowledging that yes shit has happened in the past few years. All of us have some shell shock

But life goes on, and you get to choose what type of life you are going to live. In fact I maintain just to be clear I looked up the Great Depression, I was expecting to find that half or more of the country was out of work. Instead I found this, “In the United States, unemployment rose to 25% at its highest level during the Great Depression. Literally, a quarter of the country’s workforce was jobless. This number translated to 15 million unemployed Americans in 1933.”

I’m not denying the horrific pictures we saw about the great depression and all the people that were homeless and begging for food and everything but if you think about it, it’s not like half the country was out of work it’s not like the majority of country was out of work it’s literally 75% of the people we’re still working. That’s kind of curious. You would think it was 10x worse, right?

I would never put myself in the category of the five 10, 15, 20 or 25% of the people that lost their jobs. Why should I? I’ve worked for free countless times in my life. In fact, even in my 50s, I went down to Florida and worked for a friend of a friend that owned most of the real estate in Boca Raton. That didnt work out but I tried.

I graduated college in 1975, that was right after the 73, 74 oil embargo nobody was hiring anyone. So I said well if I work for free I can get a job right? So I went to work in Real estate for no salary. At my interview. I asked, how do I get a license? They explained I have to take a 40 hour course and then take a test. I asked where and when? They said well, you could do it at a college over a semester or you can go to professional business school, and take it 6pm to 10pm at night for two weeks, or you could do 9 to 5 in one week I said great that sounds good to me. He said well you missed out this week because it already started today, on Monday. I said great so I’ll go tomorrow, big deal I missed one day. I passed the course pass got my license and we were renting apartments and were getting one month as a fee. I’ll never forget I rented three apartments in one day. So I basically earned in one day what most people were paying for three months rent. That was kind of cool.

It’s just occurring to me as I write this, LOL, that I went to work in Real estate for free when the interest rates were 18% on a mortgage, the highest in the history of our country. So I guess my attitude is not so bad and I guess that’s the point of my whole blog post here. I am actually acknowledging that you have ED and of course we all know what ED means. You don’t have the strong ability to get things done, and I am proposing that everyone got a case of ED in the past few years. The solution is to just have a strong pair of balls. And that goes for women and men alike.

As always if you are having a serious depression consult a healthcare professional. And PS as alcoholic anonymous reminds everyone HALT. Are you hungry, angry, lonely or tired? Gee you think that only applies to alcoholics? I cant tell you how many times I have forgotten to eat. Or I noticed I havent had any protein, or I stupidly had a carbohydrate breakfast so of course I was famished 2 hours later. But thats why I started this as Free Health and Beauty and only later added happiness. But if you dont get eating right you will struggle to be happy.
