The point is everyone’s pile of shit is different. I learned this talking to a friend who needed to clean their closet. I know guys that will absolutely lose their shit if they havent gotten their car cleaned. I know my desk can be an issue.
Do what you have to do, or clear your shit so your mind can move on to be clear enough to work and even see what you want to do. You can read a dozen books on feng shui. Or read 2 dozen books on clutter clearing. Or just accept it in JEnglish John’s English. Get it through your thick head that sometimes You cant see clearly when you are boxed in by your shit.
Save yourself the cost of 50 books. Although some can be motivating. You need to get this on a visceral level.
And its primitive. If you are reading this your ancestors throughout millenia didnt get eaten for one reason even though they were prey without weapons. Because they were all good at seeing to the left to the right up above below so they didn’t get eaten.
Or you can read Feng Shui or clutter clearing. The cluttered top shelf in your closet does get your attention for a split second, as does the clothes on the floor on the way to the closet. Add up all those split seconds and you wonder why you are distracted and cant say focused? PS as I sit here seeing the clutter on my desk out of the corner of my eye.
PS remember that your subconscious can in a split second activate your nervous system to jump out of the way of a speeding car that you havent even consciously seen. Imagine what that cluttered house is doing to your brain. All the subconscious conversations going on in your brain. “i need to do this” ” I need to clean that” “I need to return this” “I need to do laundry” “I have to clean the car”
These conversations are probably eating up half of your day and a lot of your brain space.
Just get it done. You will thank me when you see how much energy you have released. Its real and it has a reason. And a lot of it is hard wired. You are hard wired to notice everything or you would never have survived. Not in a million years, literally.
I know we have all walked past our shit many times, in fact many times a day. But it takes a lot more effort to walk around it then just remove it. And PS stop crapping all over the place and you will not have to clean up your shit so often.
